Tranquil Plants are the core resource of the Zen Event in Grow a Garden. These are regular plants that have received the special "Tranquil" mutation during the hourly Zen Aura event. They appear with a distinctive glowing aura and Japanese characters, making them easily identifiable in your garden.
The Zen Aura is the exclusive method to obtain Tranquil Plants. This pink-orange cylindrical cloud appears on the map at the top of every hour and lasts exactly 10 minutes. Any plants within the aura have a chance to receive the Tranquil mutation.

Kitsune (0.08% - Prismatic)
Nine-Tailed Myth: Visits other players' gardens, applies Chakra/Foxfire Chakra mutations (x15 value), then duplicates and brings back the mutated fruit. The ultimate cooperative pet.
Tanchozuru/Red-Crowned Crane (4.6% - Legendary)
Tranquil Meditation: Every ~10 minutes, meditates and applies Tranquil mutations to nearby fruits. Essential for passive Chi/Zen generation outside Zen Aura windows.
Kappa (3.5% - Mythical)
Water Prank: Every ~7.5 minutes, sprays fruits with "Wet" mutation. Has ~10% chance to upgrade already-wet fruits to valuable "Bloodlit" mutation.
Multi-Account Farming (Advanced)
Since Zen Aura only affects ~18 plants per garden, experienced players use alternate accounts to multiply their hourly yield. Tranquil Plants from alt accounts can be transferred to your main account through game mechanics.
T-Rex + Cleaning Spray Combo
Use Cleaning Spray to remove all non-Tranquil mutations from your garden, then deploy T-Rex. The T-Rex will only copy and spread Tranquil mutations, maximizing your Chi/Zen efficiency.
Queen Bee + Mimic Octopus Synergy
Combine Queen Bee (resets pet cooldowns) with Mimic Octopus (copies abilities) to create mutation amplification loops. This works especially well with T-Rex for spreading Tranquil mutations.
